Though our primary mission is to college students, we desire our entire parish family of students and residents to grow in a relationship and become true disciples of Christ.
Student Sunday Suppers: Bring a little TLC into the lives of IU students by helping with weekly home-style dinners (including the monthly, and much-loved, spaghetti supper) after the 5:30 p.m. Mass every Sunday. Team members prepare and serve supper fare to appreciative college students. Time commitment is two or three hours a month during the school year. Contact Emma Schuler.
Hoosiers Home Away from Home
A ministry that connects resident and student parishioners so a student might have a Bloomington "family", a home-cooked meal, and an avenue to have someone to talk to that is close by. Resident participants commit to connecting with their student 3 (or more) times each semester. For more information, please contact Lisa Riggins.
50+ Gatherings
For anyone over the age of 50 who wish to get together, share a meal, meet new friends and catch up with old ones. During our gathering we socialize, pray together and share some fun activities after our meal. Email Debbie for more information.
Giving families in need in the Bloomington community the gift of Christmas. 35 sponsor families are needed to work with one or two families who have requested assistance. Contact Fr. Ben.
Communion Outreach Ministry
Resident parishioners bring Holy Communion to homebound parishioners and to the nursing home and hospital. Contact Fr. Ben for more information.
We provide comfort, support and prayers for newly baptized babies, cancer patients, and others in need of healing in our parish and in the Bloomington community by knitting, crocheting and sewing blankets, shawls, and wraps to convey, in a very tangible way, our concern and prayers for those who need either spiritual or physical healing. The group meets monthly. Email Judy Killigrew to get connected.
Every Thursday night during the school year from 7:45-8:45 pm, intercessory prayer teams are available in the church to pray with you and for you and your needs. Contact Fr. Simon
If you are interested in getting involved in any of our music ministries, please email our music director, Dr. Tim Gregson.

The Lay Fraternities of St. Dominic are Catholic men and women, both single and married, who commit themselves to living their lives in a manner inspired by St. Dominic and the Dominican saints, in the midst of a secular world. They devote their lives to the four Dominican “pillars” of prayer, study, community, and apostolate. Collectively, this involves living and preaching the Gospel throughout their daily lives. Through a process of formation, the Dominican Laity adopt a Rule of Life, promising to live holy lives in communion with Catholic Church, in accordance with the Dominican charism.
The chapter has met regularly since 2017. The Bloomington chapter invites others in our faith community to consider joining with them in following the life of St. Dominic and the Dominican saints. Please contact MarySue Schwab for more information.
