St. Paul Catholic Center is the Catholic student center and parish at Indiana University.
Though our primary mission is to serve college students, we desire our entire parish family of students, residents, and multicultural communities to grow in a relationship and become true disciples of Christ through sharing the Gospel, serving the poor, and worshipping God.
As a community, we are blessed by the diversity and opportunities for collaboration and interaction between students and residents. We invite everyone to join in our mission, to pray with us, and to help us renew all things in Christ.
Parish Mission Statement (adopted March 2021):
St. Paul Catholic Center serves as the Newman Center and Catholic parish for the Indiana University community. We bear witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, celebrate the Sacraments, foster spiritual formation, evangelize, and serve those in need.
Parish Vision Statement (adopted March 2021):
To be a parish focused on student ministry that welcomes, invites and forms all as we create a community of missionary disciples.
The Parish Pastoral Council serves the Catholic Community of Indiana University and Bloomington residents. In service to our parish community and the pastor, it shares the responsibility of listening to and providing guidance and leadership for our parish by encouraging action, service and ministry.
