Retreat Information
Kairos 20 Retreat: February 19-21 2010
KAIROS is a Greek word for time; as chronos refers to human time, KAIROS is all
about God’s time. It is a period of time characterized by good fortune, urgency,
and favorable opportunity. A KAIROS moment is typically one of short duration
which must be seized or it will be lost.
The KAIROS Retreat is a time during which you can focus yourself on your
relationship with God AND provide God with the same opportunity. We invite you
to join us for a February winter weekend of prayer and sharing at the beautiful
Benedictine Monastery of the Immaculate Conception retreat center. Departure will be Friday afternoon
and we will return by Sunday evening. The total cost for the retreat is $90 (ask
about scholarships).
Application forms are available here.
Freshman Escape Retreat: Coming October 2010
As you begin your college career you are being bombarded by all sorts of stuff.
At the same time you are aware that your spiritual life, your relationship with
Christ, is vital to maintain. We invite you as you begin your time at IU to take
some time and let God have some room as you begin this new adventure. The
retreat begins late Friday afternoon and goes through Saturday evening. Contact the parish office for further information (339-5561) or
e-mail Fr. Stan at frstan@hoosiercatholic.org.
